Get your personalized Google review NFC card →
Short answer: To get more Google reviews as a plumber, ask every customer at the end of the job, right after you show them the finished repair, and hand them a personalized Google review NFC card. They tap it with their phone and your Google review page opens; if the phone doesn't tap, they scan the printed QR backup. You don't have to text a link later, and no battery or charging is needed.
Most plumbing jobs end at the door: the leak is fixed, the water heater is running, the customer is relieved. That is the moment they're most likely to leave a review, and the moment it usually gets lost. A review card your tech can leave behind turns that moment into a link the customer can open in one tap.
Pocket Factory makes a personalized Google review NFC card with your logo, pre-programmed with your review link, one-time purchase, no app and no subscription. See pricing for single cards and packs.
When to hand the card over
- After the walkthrough. Show the fixed fixture or the new install, then hand the card over.
- With the invoice. If you collect payment on site, give the card at the same time.
- On the fridge or water heater. Some customers aren't ready on the spot; a card left behind keeps the link handy.
What to say
Keep it short and the same for everyone: "If you have a minute, an honest review on Google helps us a lot. Just tap this card to your phone."
One card per truck, or a pack for the whole crew
Each tech can carry their own cards pointing to the company's Google Business Profile. If you run more than one location, each batch can point to a different profile; see multi-location cards.
Ask every customer the same way
Google's policies say reviews must reflect a genuine experience and prohibit reviews influenced by payments, discounts or other benefits (Google: incentivized or biased reviews). Google's own advice is simply to ask customers to visit your review link or scan a QR code (Google: tips to get more reviews). So hand the card to every customer, ask for an honest review, and don't filter who gets asked or offer anything in return. Pocket Factory cards open your public review page directly, with no rating screen in between.
Which phones work?
