So nobody can erase the card or point it somewhere else. Each card is programmed, tap-tested and locked before it ships, so it opens the link you approved.

Why are the cards locked?

An unlocked NFC card can be overwritten by anyone with a phone app, and over the years that's how cards get wiped or pointed somewhere else and stop working. We lock every card after we program and test it, so the link you approved is the link it opens, every time.

What if my link changes?

Because the link is permanent, a new link means new cards. Each order is set up, programmed and tested by hand for your link, so new cards are a new order.

How do I avoid needing new cards?

Choose a link that won't change before you order. A page on your own website, your Google review link (find it with our free Google review link generator) or a link-in-bio page you control are good choices: you can update that page yourself, and the card keeps opening it. We confirm your link with you before your cards are made.

If the card arrives wrong or damaged

We confirm your design and destination before your cards are made. If your cards arrive damaged, defective or different from the order you approved, email us and we'll work with you on a fix, such as a redesign or replacement. See the refund policy.
