Free Google Review Link Generator (+ QR Code)
Design my NFC cardThis free Google review link generator turns your Google Place ID into a direct "write a review" link and a QR code you can download, right in your browser. Paste your Place ID below, copy the link, and save the QR code. Nothing you type is sent to us; the link and QR are built on your device.
Pocket Factory: Your business logo on a card. Tap it, it opens your link. The link can be your website, Instagram, Google reviews, booking page, menu or pay link. It's an NFC card with an NTAG215 chip, pre-programmed with your URL, from $19, and you can order just one, with no app or subscription.
How to find your Google Place ID
- Open Google's official Place ID Finder.
- Type your business name and city in the search box on the map and pick your business from the suggestions.
- Copy the Place ID shown in the info window (it often starts with "ChIJ") and paste it into the box above.
If several results look like your business, pick the one with your exact address. Google notes Place IDs can change over time, so re-test your link occasionally.
Own the Business Profile? Google can give you the link directly
If you manage the Business Profile, Google provides an official review link and QR code: on a computer, open your Business Profile, select Read reviews, then Get more reviews, and copy the link or save the QR (Google Business Profile Help). You can paste that link into the box above too, to get a QR in PNG form.
How the link works
The generator builds a link in the format https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID, which opens the review box for that place on Google. Customers need to be signed in to a Google Account to post a review. Google prohibits offering incentives such as discounts or freebies in exchange for reviews, so share the link with every customer and offer nothing for it.
Where to use your review link and QR code
- Receipts, invoices and thank-you emails
- A printed QR sign at the counter or in the waiting area
- The end of a chat or support conversation
- An NFC tap card you hand over in person, so customers can tap instead of scan
