The best NFC business cards in 2026, by listed card price: TapTag $3.95, Linq $14.99, Pocket Factory $19 one-time, Mobilo $19.99 list, Wave $23, dot.card $30 with no subscription, and V1CE $82; Popl doesn't list a card price. The real question is whether you need a card or sales software, so we compared all 8 on 2-year cost. For a branded card with no ongoing cost, Pocket Factory makes a single card with your logo, pre-programmed with your direct website URL, $19 one-time payment for one card, no subscription; U.S. shipping is free, cards ship from the USA, and most standard orders are expected to be produced and shipped within approximately 3–5 business days; delays are possible. For CRM and event lead capture, Popl and Mobilo sell paid software plans. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own site on October 19, 2026, 1:14–1:18 AM ET.

We make one of the cards on this page (Pocket Factory), so this is a first-party comparison. When another option is the better fit, we say so.
Compare the card, the destination and any optional software
Cards can share a tap-to-open workflow without using identical chips or offering identical services. For example, NXP lists different user-memory capacities for NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216; we have not independently verified the chip in every card below. Compare the physical card and printing, whether the tap opens your own URL or a hosted profile, and which features require an optional paid plan. Several options below work without a required subscription.
So we compared 8 NFC business cards on the number that matters: what you'll actually pay over 2 years. Prices were pulled from each vendor's own site on October 19, 2026, 1:14–1:18 AM ET. Where a vendor doesn't publish a price, we say so instead of guessing.

Honest take on each
TapTag — cheapest absolute price. From $3.95 (older Version 1 colors; the V2 card is $9.95) with no subscription and a free dashboard to edit what the card opens. The Classic card is a plain colored card; TapTag's printed-design cards start at $29.95.
Dot — closest one-time alternative. $30 card with free lifetime dot.Profile access and no subscription required; Dot says you can update your info as it changes. Profile Plus ($144/year after a 14-day trial) adds branding, deeper analytics, contact exports, AI card scanning and follow-up reminders.
Wave Connect & Linq — budget basics. Wave's NFC business card is $23 and works with Wave's $0 Free plan; Pro is $7/month billed annually. Linq's homepage lists its Digital Card at $14.99 (re-checked 1:18 AM ET); its plan prices weren't listed on linqapp.com, so we left Linq's 2-year total open.
V1CE — premium materials. $82 (Original) to $449 (24k gold), with bamboo at $113 and metal at $150. V1CE says its software is free for life with every card. Compare the materials and included design service as well as the software; we have not verified that its chip is identical to the other cards here.
Mobilo & Popl — worth it if you need the software. This is the honest caveat: if you run event lead capture, CRM sync, and team analytics, Popl and Mobilo sell software for that. Mobilo's Pro plan is $3/month; Popl offers a free plan for individuals but doesn't list its Pro or team prices on popl.co. You're not overpaying for a card; you're paying for sales software that happens to include one. If you don't need that software, don't buy it. Head to head: Popl vs Dot vs Pocket Factory.
Pocket Factory (our card) — one link, your logo, no subscription. $19 one-time, no subscription, and the design is done for you from your branding: enter your website and see a preview of your card before you order. The tap goes straight to your link — website, Instagram, Google reviews, or booking page — not a vendor profile page. Pocket Factory cards ship locked (read-only), so the link can't be erased or overwritten and the card keeps working for years; if your link changes, order new cards.
The verdict
Ask yourself one question: do I need sales software, or do I need a business card? If it's the software, pay Popl or Mobilo for the CRM tooling. If it's the card — a branded tap that opens your link, with no monthly fee following you around — compare the one-time prices above: TapTag is cheapest for a plain card, Dot and Wave's Free plan also skip the monthly fee, and Pocket Factory is $19 for one card with your logo printed and your link pre-programmed.
FAQ
How much is one Pocket Factory card, and how fast does it ship?
$19 one-time payment for one card (matte; $21 glossy), no subscription. It's a single card with your logo, pre-programmed with your direct website URL or another link you choose, and it ships locked so the link can't be erased or overwritten. U.S. shipping is free, cards ship from the USA, and most standard orders are expected to be produced and shipped within approximately 3–5 business days; delays are possible.
Do NFC business cards need a subscription?
No. The NFC tag itself is a one-time piece of hardware. Subscriptions pay for the vendor's software (analytics, CRM, team management). Pocket Factory, TapTag, Dot, Wave (Free plan) and V1CE all sell cards with no required subscription, per their own sites.
What's the cheapest NFC business card over 2 years?
Among cards printed with your own logo and no subscription, Pocket Factory is $19 for one card, one-time. The cheapest card on this list is TapTag's plain Classic card at $3.95 (older Version 1 colors; V2 is $9.95), which doesn't carry your branding.
Do NFC business cards work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. iPhone XS and newer and NFC-enabled Android phones read NFC tags without an app. Many cards add a printed QR code as a backup for phones that don't tap. A printed QR backup is included by default on Pocket Factory cards (the Tap + QR back).
