Business cards for cleaning services: Pocket Factory makes one card with your logo, pre-programmed with your link, $19 one-time for one card, no subscription. Ships from the USA. For a cleaning business, the card worth paying for is the one that opens your Google review page, handed over at the final walkthrough when the client sees the clean, or left on the kitchen counter after a recurring visit. Paper business cards are still the cheaper choice for flyers, door hangers and mailbox drops. This guide covers what to print on a cleaning business card, when paper beats a tap card (and when it doesn't), which link to use, how to ask for reviews without breaking Google's rules, and cards for a cleaning team.

What to print on a cleaning business card (checklist)

Whether you print paper cards, tap cards or both, a cleaning business card has one job: make it easy for someone to book you, or tell a friend about you, weeks after you've met. That decides what goes on it.

Front

  • Your business name and logo, big enough to read across a counter. If you don't have a logo yet, a clean wordmark of the business name works.
  • What you clean, in one line: "Residential, move-out and deep cleans" or "Offices and short-term rentals." Three services at most; a list of twelve reads like nobody's specialty.
  • Where you work: the towns or neighborhoods you serve. Clients and their friends want to know you'll come to them before they call.
  • One way to reach you, written the way you answer: if you reply to texts faster than calls, say "Call or text."

Back

  • Your booking or quote link (or a website address that leads there), plus a QR code to the same place.
  • Proof, only if it's true: insured, bonded or licensed where your state requires it. Never print a claim you can't back up on request.
  • A line that sells the next visit, such as "Recurring cleans weekly, every two weeks or monthly," if you offer them.

Leave off: prices that change with the size of the home, your personal social accounts, a home address if you work from home, and tiny fonts. A card nobody can read in a dim hallway isn't doing anything.

Paper business cards vs an NFC tap card for a cleaning business

An honest comparison, because they do different jobs:

Paper business cards NFC tap card
Best for Flyers, door hangers, mailbox drops, community boards, leaving a stack with a realtor or property manager The one card you hand over at the walkthrough, or leave on the counter for a recurring client
Cost per piece Much lower; you buy them by the hundred $19 for one Pocket Factory card; $10.90 each in a 10-pack
What it does The client reads it and has to type your number or website The client taps it with their phone and your review or booking page opens
Lifespan Often thrown out or lost in a drawer Stays in one place (on the counter, in your hand) and gets reused

Keep printing paper ones too. The tap card isn't a replacement for a box of 500; it's the one card that makes it easier for a client to open your review or booking page while they're still standing in a clean kitchen.

The moment: the final walkthrough

The best time to ask for anything is when the client sees the result. For a one-time or move-out clean, that's the final walkthrough: you walk the client through the rooms, they say "wow," and you hand over the card. For a recurring client who isn't home, it's the card left on the counter, next to a short note, after a visit that went well.

  • At the walkthrough: "If you'd like to share your experience, this card opens our Google review page. It's completely optional."
  • Left on the counter: a note that says "Thanks for having us! If you have a minute, tap this card to leave a review," with the card on top.
  • For rebooking: "Want to set up your next clean? Tap here and pick a time."

Ask once, the same way for every client. Don't ask while you're still packing up, and don't follow up three times. A card left behind does the reminding for you.

Each Pocket Factory card opens one link, so pick the job. For most cleaning businesses, this is the order:

1. Google reviews. When people search for a house cleaner near them, reviews are a big part of what they see. A Google review card opens your review form directly. Find your exact review link with our Google review link generator.

2. Rebooking or online booking. If you use field-service software with online booking, a booking card can open your public booking page. Some examples, from each company's own pages: Jobber online booking lets customers book appointments online and puts the jobs in your schedule, and Jobber lists online booking and requests for Jobber for cleaning businesses; Housecall Pro online booking says clients can book directly from Google search results or your website; and Square Appointments offers a free booking site where customers can book your services 24/7. Whatever you use, copy the public booking link (not your admin login) and open it on your phone over cellular data before you order.

3. Facebook or Nextdoor. If neighbors recommend you there and that's where your clients find you, a card can open your business page there, but for most cleaners, reviews and rebooking come first.

Buying two cards? The usual split is a review card for the walkthrough and a booking card for the counter. Two are $29 and three are $39.

Quote request or instant booking: choose before printing

A new deep clean and a familiar recurring visit may need different next steps. If you must check the property size, service area, condition or scope before committing a price and appointment, send prospects to a quote-request or assessment page. Use direct booking when the offered service and available times are genuinely bookable under your rules.

Jobber distinguishes request forms, job-booking forms and assessment-booking forms. A request can be reviewed and turned into a quote or job; it is not automatically the same as a confirmed clean. Choose the public form that matches your actual process, whatever software you use.

  • Label the card accurately: "Request a cleaning quote" or "Book your next clean," according to the destination.
  • Open the page signed out on a phone and check service-area and scope questions.
  • Make clear whether the customer is requesting a time or securing one, and who will confirm the next step.
  • Keep a paper card with your business number for people who prefer to call or text.

The NFC card opens the form. Your software and team handle estimates, scheduling and confirmation. You do not need a new booking platform just to use a card with an existing public request link.

How to ask for reviews without breaking the rules

Cleaning businesses are tempted to sweeten the ask: "$10 off your next clean if you leave us five stars." Don't. Google's contribution policy says it doesn't allow merchants to offer incentives, such as payment, discounts, or free goods or services, in exchange for posting a review, and that incentivized reviews will be removed (Google's policy on incentivized reviews).

The FTC's guide for marketers adds practical rules of thumb: don't ask for reviews only from customers you think will leave positive ones; don't ask your staff to review the business without disclosing they work for you; don't ask family and friends without them disclosing the connection; and never make an incentive depend on the review being positive (FTC: Soliciting and Paying for Online Reviews, a guide for marketers).

What that means in practice for a cleaning business:

  • Offer the card to every client at the same point (the walkthrough, or the first recurring visit), not just the ones who seem thrilled.
  • No discounts, free add-ons or gift cards for a review. A thank-you is fine; a reward is not.
  • Your cleaners shouldn't review the business themselves, and neither should your cousin.
  • Reply to reviews, including the critical ones, without sharing anything private about the client's home.

Google's own suggestions for getting more reviews are at Google Business Profile Help: Tips to get more reviews.

Cards for a cleaning team: one per cleaner

If you run a crew, give each cleaner their own card. The easiest setup: every card opens the same company review link, so all the reviews land on one Business Profile. Pocket Factory packs make this simple: 3 cards are $39, 5 are $59 and 10 are $109, each with your logo.

Keep the card in the cleaning caddy or the cleaner's apron pocket, so it comes out at the walkthrough without hunting for it. If a client wants to book directly, a booking card at the company level works better than personal cards, so all bookings go through one calendar.

Starting solo or as a side hustle

If you're starting with one person and a car full of supplies, start small: one $19 review card for walkthroughs, and a cheap box of paper cards for everything else. Set up your Google Business Profile before you order the review card, because the card needs a review link to open. If you don't have a profile yet, point a website card at a simple page about your services instead, and order a review card once your profile is live.

How to set up review cards for a cleaning business

Step 1: Get your Google review link

Find your Business Profile's review link with the Google review link generator and open it on a phone to check it's your business.

Step 2: Decide one job per card

A review card for the walkthrough; a booking card for recurring clients if you use online booking.

Step 3: Order the cards with your logo

Choose the matching card and add your logo; a printed QR backup is included by default. One card is $19; three are $39 for a small team.

Step 4: Tap-test each card

Tap every card with an iPhone and an Android phone and scan the QR before it goes in a caddy.

Step 5: Use the same ask every time

Hand it over at the walkthrough or leave it on the counter with a short note. No discounts for reviews.

FAQ

Should my cleaning card open a quote form or a booking page?

Use a quote-request or assessment page when you need to review the property and scope before committing. Use direct booking only for services customers can actually book under your rules. Label the card to match; opening a form does not confirm a cleaning appointment.

What should be on a cleaning business card?

Your business name and logo, what you clean in one line, the areas you serve, how to reach you, and a booking or website link with a QR code. Add insured, bonded or licensed only if it's true.

Are NFC business cards worth it for a cleaning business?

For the one card you hand over at the walkthrough or leave on the counter, yes: a tap opens your Google review or booking page. For flyers and door hangers, paper cards are cheaper and work fine.

Can I offer a discount on the next clean for a Google review?

No. Google's contribution policy doesn't allow incentives such as payment, discounts or free services in exchange for reviews, and the FTC warns against asking only happy customers. Ask every client the same way.

Should each cleaner on my team have a card?

Yes, one per cleaner, all opening the same company review link so reviews land on one Business Profile. Pocket Factory packs are $39 for 3, $59 for 5 and $109 for 10.

How much do NFC review cards for cleaners cost?

Pocket Factory is $19 one-time for one card with your logo, no subscription. Checked October 19, 2026, 7:00–7:20 AM ET: Tap Tag's Google Review Card is $19.95 with Tap Tag branding, Limey's is $15 and Digifeel's is $22.90.

Can I change the link later?

No. Locked so it can't be erased or overwritten. It keeps working for years. If your link changes, order new cards with the new link.
