Personalize your Google review NFC cards →
Most local businesses don’t struggle because customers refuse to leave reviews.
Pocket Factory: Your business logo on a card. Tap it, it opens your link. The link can be your website, Instagram, Google reviews, booking page, menu or pay link. It's an NFC card with an NTAG215 chip, pre-programmed with your URL, from $19, and you can order just one, with no app or subscription.
They struggle because the ask is awkward, delayed, or buried under too many steps.
NFC Google review cards fix that moment. A customer taps (or scans the QR backup), your Google review page opens, and they can leave feedback while the experience is still fresh.
This is the commercial side of the story — not a chip tutorial. If you want the mechanics of how review cards work, read our companion guide: How Google Review Cards Work (NFC + QR).

The real bottleneck isn’t “asking harder”
After a haircut, repair, appointment, or delivery, people are often willing to help. Then you ask them to:
- Unlock their phone
- Open Google or Maps
- Type your business name correctly
- Find the right listing
- Hit the review button
That chain fails constantly. Staff get shy. Customers get distracted. The moment dies.
An NFC Google review card collapses steps 2–5 into one tap (with QR as backup). Same honest ask — less friction.

What an NFC Google review card is (for buyers)
It’s a physical card — usually branded — with:
- An NFC chip encoded to your Google review / write-a-review URL
- A QR code pointing to the same destination; a printed QR backup is included by default on Pocket Factory cards (the Tap + QR back)
- Your logo and layout so it feels like your business, not a generic sticker
Important: the card does not write the review. It only opens the right page. Real customers still write real reviews.
Pocket Factory builds these as NFC Pocket Factory cards with your logo for business — designed, programmed, tested, and ready before they ship.
NFC review cards vs paper QR vs verbal asks
| Method | Friction | Consistency | Brand feel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verbal “search us on Google” | High | Low | Depends on staff |
| Paper QR flyer / receipt code | Medium | Medium | Often looks temporary |
| NFC Google review card (+ QR) | Low | High | Looks intentional |
Paper QR still works. NFC just removes one more failure mode — fumbling the camera, bad lighting, or a crumpled flyer — while QR stays as backup for phones that won’t tap.
You’re not choosing “tech for tech’s sake.” You’re choosing a reliable delivery tool for a policy-safe ask.
Where NFC Google review cards pay off
Offer every genuine customer the same optional review invitation after an in-person visit or service, regardless of whether their experience was positive or negative:
- Salons, barbers, spas
- Contractors and mobile techs (hand the card in the driveway)
- Clinics and professional services
- Cafés and restaurants (counter stack or table workflow)
- Retail checkout
Offer the card at a convenient point after the visit, without screening for satisfaction. Customers can review now, later, or not at all; do not pressure them to post while they are there.
How to roll them out without looking spammy
- Encode the correct Google review URL — verify it before you order a stack
- Ask everyone the same way — no gating (don’t send only happy customers to Google)
- Keep the invitation optional — “If you’d like to share your experience, this opens our Google review form. Reviewing is optional.”
- Train staff once — where the cards live, when to hand them, what not to say
- Cards come with the Tap + QR back by default — a printed code for compatible smartphone cameras or QR scanners opens the same link
Skip paid reviews, review quotas for employees, and anything that filters 1–3 star feedback off Google. The card should make honest reviews easier — not manufacture them.
What to check before you buy NFC review cards
- Destination verified — your real Google review link, tested on phone
- QR backup included by default — the Tap + QR back gives a printed scan option.
- Your branding — customers should recognize the card as yours
- No mystery monthly software required for a basic static review link (see how much a Google review card costs)
- Tap-tested before ship — broken encoding wastes the order
How Pocket Factory builds review Pocket Factory cards
You choose the outcome (reviews, contact, booking, social, website), quantity, and look. We use your business info and branding to design, program, test, and prepare each card.
You don’t need to design production files or program chips yourself. Give us enough to identify the business at checkout — if we can’t verify a detail confidently, we contact you before production.
If you want the card design and programming handled for you, see the Google review NFC card with your logo. Cards come with the Tap + QR back by default for a printed scan option. The card ships locked to one chosen URL; customers still choose whether to review and must sign into Google to post.
FAQ
Will NFC Google review cards get me more reviews?
They remove friction at the right moment. Opening the review form does not establish that someone submitted a review or that the card increased review volume. No honest vendor can promise a fixed percentage lift.
Do I still need QR if I have NFC?
No. NFC works without a printed QR code on compatible phones. Cards still come with the Tap + QR back by default, so compatible smartphone cameras or QR scanners can scan to open the same link.
Is this different from an NFC business card?
Same idea, different destination. Review cards open Google reviews after service. Contact / business cards open a site, vCard, or social link for intros. Many businesses run both.
Can I change the link later?
No. Cards ship locked (read-only), so the link can't be erased or overwritten. No battery or charging is needed. If your link changes later, order new cards.
Is this only for Google?
Google is the default for most local businesses. The same Pocket Factory card approach can point to other review platforms when that fits your strategy.
Bottom line
If your review problem is really a friction problem, NFC Google review cards for business are a simple fix: branded card, correct URL, tap (or scan), done.
