A Google review card is a card with an NFC chip, and usually a QR code, that opens your business's Google write-a-review page when a customer taps it with their phone or scans it. The same card can open any link instead: your website, Instagram, booking page, menu or pay link. Pocket Factory makes them with your business logo, pre-programmed with your link, from $19 for one card.
For reviews, the link is your Google write-a-review page. Pocket Factory: Your business logo on a card. Tap it, it opens your link. The link can be your website, Instagram, Google reviews, booking page, menu or pay link. It's an NFC card with an NTAG215 chip, pre-programmed with your URL, from $19, and you can order just one, with no app or subscription.
What one costs: a Pocket Factory review card with your logo is a $19 one-time payment for one card, with no subscription and no monthly fee, and it ships from the USA free by first-class mail. For comparison (prices checked on each maker's own product page October 22, 2026): Tap Tag's Google Review Card is $19.95 with Tap Tag branding ($29.95 for its upload-your-logo card), Digifeel's is $22.90 and Limey's is $15.00. Google's own tips page suggests asking for reviews with a link or QR code (Google Business Profile Help: Tips to get more reviews), and its content policy rules out incentives: you can't offer a discount, freebie or payment for a review (Google Maps user-generated content policy). A dental front desk or a salon usually keeps one card per person who does the asking.
What are Google review cards?
Google review cards are tap cards a business keeps at the counter or hands to customers so they can open its Google review form in one step: the customer taps the card's NFC chip with a phone, or scans its QR code, and the write-a-review page opens. Google's own help suggests asking for reviews with a Google link or QR code (Google's review tips), and you copy that link from your Business Profile under Read reviews, then Get more reviews (Google's review-link help, checked October 19, 2026, 11:27 AM ET). The card simply carries that link. Customers must be signed into Google to post, and Google bans incentives for reviews, so the card makes asking easier but never buys a review.
Pocket Factory makes them with your business logo: the Google review NFC card is a $19 one-time payment for one card, with free U.S. shipping. Locked so it can't be erased or overwritten. No battery or charging is needed. The same card can open your site instead (website NFC card) or your profile (social media NFC card).

What a Google review card does (and doesn't do)
- It does: open your Google review page without searching for the business in Maps; the customer may need to unlock the phone and open a notification or link prompt.
- It doesn't: write reviews, pick stars, guarantee more reviews or filter out unhappy customers. Real customers still write real reviews.
- It isn't: a monthly review-software seat. A card with your direct review link keeps working with no subscription.
How a Google review card works
Inside the card is a small NFC chip (Pocket Factory uses NTAG215) that stores one link: your Google review link, which you can copy from your Business Profile (Google Business Profile Help: Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews) or find with our Google review link generator. When the card touches an iPhone XS or newer, or an Android phone with NFC turned on, the phone opens that link in the browser, with no app (Apple's Core NFC documentation; Android's NFC documentation). A printed QR code on the back covers phones that can't tap. Setting one up yourself? See how to set up a Google review NFC card.
It's not only for Google reviews
Because the chip just opens a link, the same card can send people to your website, Instagram or TikTok, a booking page, a menu or a pay or tip link. Many businesses keep a review card at checkout and a second card for Instagram or booking (here's how that looks on a coffee shop counter). Each Pocket Factory card opens one link, so order one batch per link. See tap-to-book cards, tap-to-pay and tip cards and getting Instagram follows in person, or compare NFC business card prices with your logo if you want a card that opens your website. A hotel or B&B can do the same at check-in with an NFC card for a hotel front desk that opens your guest guide.
Google review cards for business: what to look for
- One-time price vs subscription. A direct review link needs no monthly fee. Dashboards and redirects are optional extras, not requirements.
- NFC and QR on the same card. NFC is faster at the counter; QR covers phones with NFC off or no NFC.
- Phone compatibility. iPhone XS and newer read NFC without an app; Android needs NFC turned on.
- Your logo or the seller's design. Some cards are a stock Google-review design or carry the seller's brand; your own logo can cost more or need a quote.
- Single-card orders. You should be able to buy one card to test before buying a stack.
- Direct link or redirect. A redirect through the seller's dashboard lets you change the link and see stats, but the card depends on that service. A direct link just opens Google.

FAQ
What is a Google review card?
A Google review card is a card with an NFC chip, and usually a QR code, that opens your business's Google write-a-review page when a customer taps it with their phone or scans it. The customer still picks the stars and writes the review; the card just skips the searching.
Can a Google review card open a different link?
Yes. The chip holds a link, so the same kind of card can open your website, Instagram, booking page, menu or pay link instead. A Pocket Factory card is programmed to one link you choose.
How does a Google review card work?
The NFC chip stores your Google review link. iPhone XS and newer and Android phones with NFC on read it when the card touches the phone and open the link in the browser, with no app. The QR code opens the same link with the camera. More: how Google review cards work.
How much does a Google review card cost?
When checked October 22, 2026: Smartap $17.95 for one card in its Google design, Tap Tag $19.95 on sale for one Tap Tag branded card ($29.95 on sale with your logo), and Pocket Factory $19 for one card with your logo. Blank DIY cards cost cents but you program them yourself.
Do Google review cards need a subscription?
No. A card written with your direct Google review link opens Google with no monthly fee. All four options in the comparison above are one-time purchases.
Are Google review cards allowed by Google?
Google itself suggests sharing a review link or QR code with customers (Google Business Profile Help: Create a Google link or QR code to request reviews). What's not allowed is offering a reward for a review (Google's policy on incentivized reviews), so ask every customer the same way and don't attach discounts.
