Who sets up the link, and what depends on a dashboard?

Smartap’s product page, checked October 22, 2026, says the merchant uses its free app to write the review URL onto the NFC chip. The tap then goes directly to Google; its printed QR runs through a free Smartap dashboard where the destination can be changed and scans counted. Customers do not need the setup app. That is a different setup workflow from a Pocket Factory card programmed and tested before shipping. If you want both NFC and QR, compare how each route is configured and maintained, not only whether there is a monthly charge.
