Why do so many card sellers have a minimum order?
Minimums come from how cards are made and sold. Paper business cards are printed in sheets, so printers sell them in stacks. Blank NFC cards are sold to people who program them in bulk, so the listings start at a pack size. Two examples, checked on each seller's own site on October 23, 2026:
- Vistaprint standard business cards: quantities from 50 to 10,000 (vistaprint.com). These are paper cards with no chip.
- GoToTags blank NTAG215 PVC card: minimum order quantity of 10, listed at $0.48 each at that tier (store.gototags.com). These are blank white cards with no logo; you write the link yourself with an app.
If you only need a card for yourself, a stack of 50 or a box of blanks is more than you will hand out. That's the gap a no-minimum order fills.
What does one card cost compared with a pack?

Larger packs (25 and 50) are on the pricing page. A pack of 10 matte cards works out to about $10.90 a card, so buying one costs more per card. When is one card the right order?
- You're testing the idea. You want to see how clients react to a tap before you equip a whole team.
- It's just you. A solo stylist, detailer, photographer or consultant with one booking page or one website.
- It's a counter card. One card that lives by the register or on the front desk and opens your Google review page or menu.
Order two or more if more than one person hands the card over, if each staff member needs their own link, or if you'd like a spare. Two matte cards are $29.
What do you get with a single-card order?

What should you check before ordering just one?
Get the link right first. Cards ship locked, so the link can't be changed after the card ships. If you switch websites or booking tools later, a new link means new cards. Open the link on your own phone before you order, the way a stranger would see it. If you aren't sure which link to use, read what to do if your link changes before you order.
Pick one job for the card. One card opens one link. If you want a review card and a booking card, that's two cards, each with its own link.

Questions about ordering one card
Is there a minimum order for Pocket Factory NFC cards?
No. The smallest pack is 1 card: $19 matte or $21 glossy, paid once, with no subscription and free U.S. shipping.
Why do some sellers make you buy 10 or 50?
Blank chip cards and paper business cards are priced for volume. GoToTags lists a 10-card minimum on its blank NTAG215 card, and Vistaprint's standard business cards start at 50 (both checked October 23, 2026).
Is one card enough?
For one person with one link, usually yes. Order more if several staff hand cards over, if you want one at the counter and one in your wallet, or if you want a spare in case one gets lost.
Does a single card cost more per card than a pack?
Yes. One matte card is $19, while 10 matte cards are $109, about $10.90 each. You pay more per card in exchange for not buying cards you won't use.
Can I add more cards later with a different link?
Yes, as a new order. Cards ship locked, so the link on a card can't be changed after it ships. A new link means new cards.
